They are heavy and cumbersome, not only ruining the aesthetics of your kitchen, but more importantly, in those moments of panic, you simply can't calmly aim at that tiny metal pin. For women with less strength or elderly people at home, those few seconds of hesitation could be the trigger that turns a small fire into a disaster.

Our original intention in designing OUGIST was to give every "family guardian" the lightest yet most reliable sense of security.

It doesn't require you to have the strength of a firefighter, nor does it require you to memorize complicated operating instructions beforehand. 
It's as easy to use as any other tool in your kitchen – pull, press, and the flames are extinguished. What we want to protect is not just the property of your house, but also the peace of mind you have while carefully preparing dinner for your family.
